A documentary theatre work blending contemporary approaches, created together with 14 ordinary Chinese seniors in the Netherlands. For the first time, they step onto the stage to share their untold stories — a healing and therapeutic journey of memory, identity, and emotion.

The work also intertwines with documentary short films and features three original songs inspired by the seniors’ stories — with the seniors themselves recording the vocals in a music studio.

✨ The Imaginative Pet is a performative workshop where participants bring their dream pets to life — not with fur or feathers, but with Arduino sets and upcycled materials.

Led by Chun-Shing and Carmen Lee, participants crafted their own robotic creatures, filled out pet adoption forms, and reflected on what these companions reveal about their inner world. In Cantonese, there’s a saying: 「狗似主人形」 — pets often mirror their owners.
